Dawson realized that he needed to do more vs a live body in Pascal than what he did against aging veterans such as Johnson and Tarver, however he realized that too late.
Dawson was on his way to stop Pascal on the 11th round, his check hook was landing more often and he hurt Pascal badly on the 11th. On the 12th he had no choice but to go all out, and Pascal being at home would not run away.
So, even though Pascal deserved the victory on the cards for the 11 rounds, there is not telling what would of happened on the 12th. Had Dawson dominated the 12th like he did the 11th we would not be ****ting on him right now.
Pascal, all the credit where its due, he took the advantage of being the crowd's favorite, and his flurries even though most of the time did not land did bring the crowd into play. He also hurt Dawson, but Pascal cant counter if his life depended on it.
Either way, we shall see an exiting rematch soon.
