I reckon Dawson just doesn't have enough heart.

He's got the skills but lacks the heart.

Someone who wanted to be the best, wouldn't fight as much as he does. Once a year just doesn't cut it when you're an upcoming fighter.

      P. Williams fluctuation in weight is having an affect on him, I reckon.

He needs to stick with one - at 160 or 168 would be best. The added muscle would help with his form and transform him into a credible force ie other fighters who threw a lot of punches and moved up in weight - Amir Khan / Pacquaio.

Yea, I lost some money on him last night. I knew Pascal was going to bring it, but I thought it would bring out the best in Dawson. Instead he refused to change his approach until the 10th round. Pascal fought a good fight, but he was there if Dawson had just let his hands go. Disappointing.

Pacquaio's move up in weight has no parallel in the history of the sport. Khan doesn't look any better than he did at 135, he just isn't fighting punchers. It's easy for him to look great against Kotelnik and Malignaggi, very few fighters can match Khan's talent and skill.

Dawson needed this loss I reckon...

His motivation I reckon has been dampered as of late.

He needs to work on that straight left and throwing combinations.

Get Mayweather Snr back in his corner!

I was high on Jacobs, I still am a fan and hope he can come back. Williams is a good fighter, he has some freakish attributes that make him awkward but I don't think he is nearly as good as many people seem to believe. I think he is quite lucky that he never fought Pavlik as I think Kelly would have smashed him. Williams gets hit, often. When he gets in with a real ****er at 160, he's in trouble.

I'm no fan of Khan but how can you say he hasn't looked better when he's going up against a better caliber of opponent. You might as well take away Pacquaio's credit in moving up in weight since he hasn't fought a boxer with a similar style to Marquez.

As I said, Khan will always look like an ATG in there against guys who can't punch. Put him in with a puncher with a chin and he will crumble.

I see your point, but the thing is Pirog is not a big puncher, don't let the Jacobs fight fool you. I have seen many Pirog fights and his stoppages would come very late in fights from accumilation, or he would simply go the distance, its Jacobs who really has a weak chin man.
