yeah that was the only fight floyd didnt seem to adjust quick enough or at all even to an opponent but he adjusted in the rematch.

why do people conveniently forget that floyd had a torn rotator cuff (shoulder) in the first castillo fight and still managed to pull the victory out?

floyd has a clear disadvantage now if he fights Pac because his style is basically the same as Dawson's with the exception that Chad attacks more during his fights. No way floyd fights anyone with a disadvantage history has proven this. He fought a weight drained DLH, an old Shane, a tiny JMM, a shot Judah, a faded Gatti, the list goes on. floyd doesn't fight guys that have any sort of advantage over him and Manny now has the perfect fight plan to beat him. Manny vs floyd only happens if Manny injures his hand badly enough to "even" things up in floyds eyes.

Floyd & Dawson are boxers, but that is where the similarities end. They fight NOTHING alike. Dawson is just a skill southpaw that is there to be hit. He can't fight inside like Floyd. He doesn't have defense like Floyd. He can't fight moving forward like Floyd. He isn't slick like Floyd. He isn't a ring general like Floyd. Etc

IMO you're taking this too far I don't think anyone is saying floyd and Dawson are clones but they are very similar in most ways. floyd looks fast because he's smaller and smaller guys are generally faster than bigger guys (truth). Dawson is basically the bigger version of what floyd would be at lt heavy.

Manny saw the exact fight plan to use against floyd last night. In a match of skillful boxer vs reasonably fast slugger Pascal beat Dawson all over the ring. Of course it wasn't the identical fight that Pac vs floyd would be because Manny is faster and wouldn't tire and floyd wouldn't attack as much as Dawson did. But just imagine what the fastest/hardest hitting fighter from 126-147 Pac Man would do to floyd now he knows how to beat him.

Dawson was not supposed to beat Pascal. Fans in the know knew that Pascal had a 50-50 chance to beat Dawson. Only clueless fans who equate Dawso to Floyd and Pascal to PAc would utter such ridiculous outlooks on all 4 fighters lol...Im out!
