I'm really disappointed in Chad too. Pascal was there for the taking after round 5. And he left Mayweather Sr. because Sr. was too hard on him....hahaha. He needs a new trainer. His corner was ****. Throw the jab and dig to the body, he said that **** after every round.

      so dissapointed
Good points..But he look like he was on his way to stopping Pascal TBH..But then he look like he was getting tired as well..Pascal I think surprised him Dawson with his boxing ability.I don't think Dawson seen that coming..

maybe on a professional level, but they didnt get along on a personal level. its very important a trainer and fighter can communicate and feel comfortable with eachother, chad and floyd sr didnt have that.

forget the double and triple jabs and he would walk right in, leave himself wide open and ultimately get carried out on a stretcher. the jabs allow him to control distance to where he can throw that straight left, it hides the left allowing it to land clean and it pushes pascal backwards taking away his power allowing u to get of in numbers.

i agree chad should have thrown more combinations, but always behind the double and triple jab. had he established a hard right jab he would have taken complete control over the fight and allowed those combinations to land when thrown. u gotta give pascal credit for hurting chad and using the ring well though.

he fought a great fight, a fight those denigrating people didn't think he could fight, which is a good tactical fight, using movement and combinations

anyway Pascal is king now and that is all that matters
..exactly. dawson didnt hold back his shots for no reason, its bcuz he couldnt read pascal who came in with quick punches from angles and with timing when chad wasnt expecting them. chad got hurt a few times and pascal kept him confuzed. pascal was willing to take the risks needed to win and that why he got the fight. i dont think he can beat hopkins (even at this stage), bute or cloud though. and i know dawson would fight a better fight second time around. all that matters is that these fights get made though, the 175lb division is awesome right now

There was nothing wrong with the trainer??He did his job and told chad the honest truth all the way threw the fight..Plus he was giving him sound advise all the way threw the fight..The trainer was the reason he almost scored the KO at the end..

floyd sr is a libra which is square cancer... Thats a perfect aspect.for trainer fighter because it keeps things on edge and from getting too comfortable imo. Manny steward (cancer) is square wladimir (aries) and Freedie roach (pisces) is square manny (sagittarius)

Chad has an aries moon too so his sun is square and moon opposite the sun of Floyd sr. it may be too much of a difference . You who I think WOULD be great for chad

ROGER MAYWEATHER. I have a feeling that ROGER's ARIES persona will have a way of bringing out the LION in chad and giving him more confidence .

              TRUST ME ON THIS

Pascal was coming off recooperation from shoulder surgery and Dawson still couldn't beat him. Other than Dawson having to fight Pascal in his home town there wasn't really that much of a risk on paper and the odds reflected that. And Dawson failed to live up to the hype his fans created for him. If he would've fought like he did in the 11th round for the rest of the fight he probably would've KOd Pascal. But fighting aggressively and with urgency isn't something in his nature.
