Can Dawson beat Adamek at HW or CW?

I'm not one for making excuses for fighters' losses but it was clear to me that Adamek was horribly weight drained for the Dawson fight. He looked sluggish, passive and did very little for the whole fight. Even the commentators noticed this as early as I think the third or fourth round. Saying that he still managed to knock Dawson down hard. Adamek has looked much much better since moving up and would have a significant power advantage over Dawson and well as several more fights worth of experience at the higher weights, so my guess is he'd win and probably KO Chadley.

Though who know? Maybe Dawson's passiveness at present are due to his own problems making weight.

Hmmm maybe, but wasn't Dawson recently talking about going down to SMW for big fights? If he was struggling to make weight I'd guess he wouldn't be talking about going down in weight. But who knows, maybe Dawson will move up to HW soon?

Yeah, I was just trying to be fair to Dawson and offer an alternative view for his performance. I think it's very, very unlikely Dawson moves down to SMW. He's ripped to the bone marrow as it is. Certainly he has the skills to move up to Cruiser and be successful there. A Cunningham fight would be groovius maximus. Heavy I'm not so sure. Adamek at least possessed the chin and power to hang with the heavies but Chadley's style is all wrong for it I think.

Ademek has a blatant increase in power at heavier weights and his stamina is better.

I think Dawson would have much more problems with Ademak at CW+

that was Adamek's last fight at LHW (im pretty sure) and i do remember him saying he was done after it because he can't make 175 anymore

i always wanted that rematch... but Adamek was on the heavy side of the weight class and Dawson on the smaller side

You can't really put any guy up in weight when another has gone up already.

It becomes a fantasy fight, but yes Adamaek should win.
