After an awsome trilogy with Evander Holyfield and getting the best out of him two out of 3 times. After beating Golota twice in a row by way of DQ and having an awsome record, why did he leave the game? I know hes back now but have you seen the guy... hes not what he was. My question is why did Bowe leave the game during a succesful career?
What happend to Rid**** Bowe?

Bowe was my boy and I dont want to talk about it!
He had every tool you needed but once he beat Holy in the first fight he lost the eye of the tiger and it never returned.
If He would have only had the brain of Lennox Lewis he could have been special...instead he will always be considered a waste of talent.
Rid**** may have won 2 out of 3 against Comander Evander but in the long run he paid a price a very dear price.Comment

Damn Jack have you been studying?
You might be right again, Ri**** never got himself into shape the way he was for the first fight with Evander...you can make the case that he only really truly prepared for 1 fight in his entire life properly so Jack you might be right it was more a case of Rid**** himself ****ng things up then his wars with Evander.
Damn put LL's brain inside of Bowe and we would have had a fighter!Comment

His wars with Evander most definitely had something to do with his eventual downfall. He took a lot of hard punches to the head, some guys can't sustain as much punishment as others. Couple that with his bad eating habits and overall laziness and you have a guy who just simply self destructed.
It's too bad, Rid**** and Holyfield were two of my favorite fighters at the time and Rid**** especially had all of the tools necessary to make him an all-time time great.Comment
