That's very true, migration occurs for many varied reasons. He may well represent Canada purely for financial gain, and his heart may actually lie with Haiti.
But I feel that as he's a canadian citizen and represents Canada when he fights, then, in the absence of an interview confirming how he sees himself, I'm inclined to say he's Canadian.
That could of course change should he at some point say otherwise, but until he does so I'll see him as Canadian, just as I see other boxers who may have moved at a very young age to a different country, or whose ethnicity may lie other than their country of citizenship, and have also not confirmed how they see themselves.
