Was anyone else bothered by Dawson saying "He has a rematch clause"?

Some people do make too big a deal of losing though...most fighters have losses...

lost 13 times in 1995-1996 season (including playoffs)

I fancied Chad and I haven't seen the fight yet but I'd fancy Chad to win the re-match. I think it was just Chad trying to downplay the loss and to me that's refreshing because too many fighters are scared to lose their 0, so it shows he's not too bothered. He's a fighter.

Fair and square fights do not end by a technical decision due to a headbutt.
12 round stoppages happened and may continue to happen.
But butting an opponent while clearly ahead of points is the way to refrain from them.

I was not bothered. It showed he wants revenge. There is no need to worry about the past , because he can't change it. What I heard in his voice was I want a second chance BECAUSE I WAS NOT PREPARED! Stuff like this happens all the time, especially when on foreign soil. Maybe next time They will come to New York or Vegas. I'm willing to bet money it will be a very different fight the next time around.
