Who ya got in the rematch? Dawson or Pascal

I think Dawson will win the rematch, but I don't look at it as an easy fight.

I believe Vegas will still open Dawson as the favorite, but not as the big -350ish fave they had him the first time.

I don't think Dawson is a smart fighter, and I doubt he will learn as much from this fight as people seem to assume. I think Pascal is a bit of a tough match up for him style wise.

That being said, Dawson showed he is more talented and he should win the rematch. I felt this fight could have gone either way (not a popular opinion) and Pascal may not have even seen the final bell if not for the accidental headbutt. Pascal was fading fast and when you can't throw punches back, the ref stops the fight no matter how good your chin is. Pascal was letting Dawson work on him like he was a heavy bag for parts of the 11th round.

Rewatch the fight with the sound off (no crowd, no announcers) and score the fight round by round. Don't buy into that "stealing the round" bull**** when a fighter does jack**** for 2:30 and then wins the last 30 seconds. Tell me what you think the score of the fight should be. I honestly thought it was a close fight which could have gone either way. I pretty much knew Dawson had lost as soon as the bout was stopped, because it was in Montreal, but I actually had it Dawson 6-5. I am not saying that to piss you off or deny reality. That is how I scored it

I was rooting for Alexander and had him losing to Kotelnik so it is not like I am just bat**** crazy. I just try and score the rounds like I see them.

I thought the HBO announcers were simply dreadful (as usual). When Dawson landed a good shot, you could hear crickets. If Pascal landed a punch, both the crowd and the announcers went wild with excitement.

I really don't see how one judge had it 108-101. The fight was close.

Pascal was hurt much more often then Dawson was in my opinion. Well, its clear they both can hurt each other. I guess either can KO each other in the rematch even though neither fighter is really known for brutal knockouts.
