thats because in America they always have fights in these big concert hall like venues...in Canada a lot of the time they just sit up a ring in a square and leave it at that.

I remember for one of Bute's fights they had a buffet and girls dancing in cages while the card was going on...you cant really get away with that kind of stuff in a venue like MGM grand or whatever, lol.

Its not that the fans arent into having a good time, American fans would love to do that kind of stuff...its just that the venues that theyre at dont really cater to a good event, its mostly just centered around the boxing match, and nothing else.
as other posters said, you go to some less formal things like college football games and its a whole different kind of atmosphere.

The fight was close, and i wish the final 4 minutes played out, and Dawson blew it and Pascal took it. Hopefully we will get a rematch. When there is a rematch Pascal will be saying Bonn Nuit, A plus tard, and Au Revioir to his titles. Je Desole but that is what will happen.
