Even if the fight wasn't stopped because of the head butt, Pascal would've gone the distance.

I don't think he was really hurt, but maybe a bit dazed. But he seemed to be coming back just before it was stopped and in all likelihood would've made the distance.

He did appear to be hurt, earlier in the fight, by a Dawson combination similar to the one in the beginning of the 11th, but shrugged it off and showed that he really wasn't.

Besides, Pascal has a great chin and Dawson has never knocked out a top fighter.

And, how do we know that Pascal wouldn't have countered back all of a sudden with a good right hand and hurt Dawson, like he did numerous times in the fight.

My opinion: if the head butt hadn't occurred, Pascal would've survived and gone the distance to win a decision.

I voted no but on second thought, idiot Dawson would have let him off the hook and then been outraged, sickeningly self-righteous and astonished when he lost the decision. ****ing dumb@ss!!

Pascal also appeared to be out for the taking, earlier in the fight, but managed to survive that. Plus, he was starting to exchange back right before the head butt.

Doubt that, he looked like he was ready to get ktfo in the 11th round. But Dawson isn't the best finisher, who knows. I know if it was Lucian Bute in the ring with Pascal, the fight wouldn't have even gone to the 11th round. I think Lucian Bute stops Pascal in the 6th round. Pascal's stamina issues are horrible, he kept gassing out constantly in the fight, thats what made it an even worse of a performance from Dawson.

**** was 7-3 or 8-2 Pascal. He ran the show in there, and befuddled Dawson. Sure he hurt him in the 11th but Dawson was hurt about 3 times himself, and would have lose since he stopped throwing at the time of the clash of heads.
