I mean the Holyfield first fight. And do you agree with what George Foreman said that Lennox is the greatest heavyweight ever, which George apparently said just after Tyson was counted out?
Was Lennox at his best against Holyfield or Tyson?

Here's what Chris Eubank said just after the Lewis-Tyson fight, Eubank: "That Lennox Lewis has to rank up there with Cassius Clay in the first Liston fight, Muhammad Ali in the second Liston fight and the Lennox Lewis who avenged his defeats, he has destroyed Mike Tyson! I'll tell you something, in the heavyweights you can become the champion no matter who you are providing you have these ingrediants - good physical prescence, good self-confidence and being in the mind-set of or trained as an astute-boxer-type. Do you know why? It's because the vast majority of heavyweights seem to lead with a big right and probably it's kind of nature for a big, strong guy to do. I like astute boxers like Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis. Larry Holmes could win a fight using only his jab alone, and the right hand could come over at any time without any warning.. which was just a bonus. It's very difficult to even get to Lennox Lewis because if you somehow get past his jab then you have to get past his cross and if you get past his cross then you have to get past his uppercut. Lennox could hang back for a whole fight and still win in cruise control, he could just hang back because heavyweights try to get to him and that's the heavyweight mentality. He is a superb fighter. In the heavyweights, I will say that if you have a good physical prescence, good self-confidence and have an astute boxer style, at your sharpest with those ingrediants you can be almost unbeatable. It's sounds simple but believe it or not they are few and far between. And what I am trying to say is that it's no disgrace to Mike, at under 6 foot he shouldn't be in the heavyweights anyway! But Mike's Mike and all I'm trying to say is that it's no disgrace."
By the way, I totally disagree with Eubank here! Lewis doesn't even make my top 10 HW's and the Catskills Tyson wipes him out in three rounds.Last edited by JUYJUY; 07-20-2005, 10:11 PM. -
It was Eubank who constructed Lewis' performance in the first Holyfield fight, check it - http://www.sporting-life.com/boxing/..._Opinions.html
Nothing to do with Manny, it was Eubank
