I don't get this.

He just beat the champion? So let's say you were a boxer, and you were the #1 contender for the belt, you wouldn't fight someone because they're terrible? Who cares, you fight the champion and take it. Doesn't matter how he is, he's a champion.

It was supposed to be Golovkin vs Mundine for the vacant WBA middleweight title, but Mundine pussied out because he knew he would get KTFO by Golovkin.

agreed, it was a gimme fight no doubt but Golovkin is legit as hell. The belt will make it harder for Sturm and others to avoid him which is great.
