Montell Griffin was causing Jones hell until Jones got lucky catching him cold in the re-match, James beat Griffin the second time man it was a robbery and the first Montell Griffin fight with James was pretty damn close too if I remember. James was probably doing better with Montell Griffin than Jones was in the first fight (before Jones got lucky in the re-match catching him cold).

To say that was a lucky shot is absurd. In the beginning of the round Jones was landing the left hook at will...then in the middle of the first round, Griffin started ducking it/leaning back...he caught him with a perfectly timed leaping left hook. To say that shot is lucky is like saying almost all of Naseem Hamed KOs are lucky, because all that guy use to do is leap.

Where ever RJJ fights, he should stay there at that weight. It cant be good for the body to keep weight hopping.

Personaly I think Roy will fight Tarver 1 more time and retire. Roy is already starting to talk publicly about life after boxing.

hell no, he should just take the fight with Bernard Hopkins. It would most likely be the biggest purse in his history. Hell in boxing history. All it would take is the right promotional aspect. Both of there names are Synonamus with boxing. This is the type of fight that the average person wouldnt mind seeing. You could bring this fight into millions of homes by proper promotional work.
I dont care who you are, especially boxing fans. You would be interested in this fight. Even the die hard boxing fan, who knows about everything, would be intrigued by the dynamics of this one. We all know the story between the two. So why not go out in a blaze of glory. Sign a fight for Oct 15. (A date open at Mandalay Bay.)
Some would say that RJJ should fight tarver, which personally i have no problem with, but Jones would rather make a huge amount of money then get redemption against Tarver. So IMO i feel RJJ would beat Hopkins. It would end with Bernard Hopkins on a knee in the 11 round. Down from a disturbingly viscious body shot. I do feel though that until that happens, Hopkins will be ahead in the fight.
              What do you think ?

I have to admit I would be very interested to see this fight, but what happened the first time they fought? It would be a giant payday, but I'm a fan first, I pay the money, I dont get the money.

But they fought twelve years ago, they are both entirely different fighters now. And whats the big deal with spending the money. Can you really place a price on ensuring that you have the chance to potentialy see history.

I would pay for the Tarver fight or the Hopkins fight, so they will get my money no matter what in this case. I would rather see Jones/Tarver myself. IMO of course.
