LHW is one of the worst divisions in boxing

All of these guys are very capable LHW's. Just because you Americans have never seen them fight doesnt make them bad fighters. It's just that the power in boxing has shifted more towards Europe than it was in the past.

I think Americans are just abit annoyed that there isnt much boxing talent coming through. Chad Dawson was supposedly the "future" of this division and now his bubble has burst. The only other guy is Tavoris Cloud and alot of Americans don't rate him. And that tells you something.

I have seen Campillo vs Shumenov. neither are very impressive. Murat is not all that hot either, but hes fighting Cleverly next, so maybe that should answer some questions.

Diaconu is about the same level as Chris Henry, and a mediocre 168lber, Yusaf Mack, beat Henry. thats a bad, bad sign.

honestly, the fact that Pascal is the top of the division says it all. I know I sound like Im being spiteful or a negative nancy or something, but honestly I never gave a damn about Dawson. I dont know how anyone can honestly and truly look at Pascal from last night and think hes an amazing fighter. he was gassed for half the fight and then ran around flurrying randomly for 1/3 of the round. Hes no different at all then from the Froch fight.

He earned it...he showed that he was somewhat underestimated, and that he was at least able to be highly competetive with a Top 5 P4P guy -- a perceived better skilled and more physically blessed guy -- and he was the better man on the night...what's the problem?

Stop being such a pansy. You just like the fact that Pascal won against Dawson (which is a great win) but now rules what i would say is the weakest division in Boxing.

There is NOTHING to be currently excited about in the LHW division at all. You have Cloud and Pascal who honestly didnt look good at all in thier two wins

I agree. Especially Erdei who's resume is 10 times worse than Ottke and he is the lineal champ. The frustrating thing about him i that he's talented but he won't fight any decent contender. Cloud looks to me like a new version of Lacy without the hype of course and Pascal looks ok but not spectacular.

NOBODY is discrediting him but he didnt look impressive at all in that win.

Its kind of weird that once Pascal wins, THEN you put Pics of him in your avatar and your sig, and calling him the truth. Froch must be good since he did beat a MUCH bigger Pascal

I wouldn't say it was conclusive, and a rematch is necessary, BUT, Pascal definitely deserves a handsome slice of credit...he's better than some people thought he was, and that's annoying them, I think.

Lowly regarded Pascal's win over Dawson proves 2 things:

1: Dawson was vastly overrated as a p4p fighter.
2: It's extremely difiicult to make p4p lists.

The fight didn't prove that LHW is a bad division. We knew that beforehand.

Still kudos to Pascal. That was an excellent win and maybe he can get Bute in an all-canadian moneyspinner?

I stopped reading right there. It's obvious your just bitter that outside of Floyd Mayweather Jr, American boxing sucks hard right now. You were claiming that Chad Dawson was really good and now that he loses he wasnt good and was just fighting in a poor division.
