Great Fight, Disappointing Final bcuz of the cut.

they have to do it again!!!!! they do have a rematch clause but jean can take another fight before he fights chad again. i think hes going to fight bute before he rematches chad to capitalize on his celebrity. cant say i blame him.

This loss will help Chad more than a victory would have... He needed a wake up call and a bucket of cold water splashed on him. He throws way too little punches and often gets too comfortable in the ring. What he was looking for in the 11th is what he should always look like when he fights. He needs to come into the ring with more intensity. He always comes in all calm and relaxed but never comes out of his shell... Fighting these old men for 4 straight fights might have confused him into thinking that he is always going to be the fresher fighter. Chad will be back and will hopefully be prepared after learning this "lesson".. Maybe he will comeback with BAD intentions.. Tonight was a wake up call to ALL champions... Defend your belt and never underestimate an opponent.

Yeah bad comparison by this guy. 168-175 is where its at right now forget some of these manufactured fighters in the lower weight divisions. How bout Cloud knocks out beibut and takes on the winner of the pascal bute dawson trio which looks like is gonna go down so we can get an undisputed champion with so much talent that could come up from 168 this could be fun for years.

Throw in pavlik and maybe even paul williams and we would all be elated.

Pascal was ****in Chad. Dawson needed 2 step up the work rate in the middle rounds. Its his own fought he lost. He shouldn't have put himself behind so many points. He put himself in a tough spot. He needed a knockout. I willl say this, he had Pascal out on his feet in the 11th round. I wish the fight wouldn't have been stopped. Chad could have probably ko'd him. Oh well, Pascal is the new Champ. Gd ****. Holla at my son Cloud next. Pascal would get knockedout.

i agree he has never shown that tenacity.

finally in the 11th he started throwing combinations
but his mindset was all wrong, he said he is gonna fight his fight...
ummmmmmmm no, not in canada, not when a guy flurries to steal rounds
and score points..
you have to understand the style your fighting and where u are fighting
in the 11th he stood pascal straight up for 3 seconds with a left hand,
pascal looked like he saw God, but chad did nothing to capitalize.
chad let this fight go, he could have taken it 33 times

Hopefully this marks the end of Dawson or convinces him to change his style. He tried to approach this fight with his boring ass style and Pascal easily stole rounds. Good for Pascal, good for the LHW division, and good for boxing.

Dawson looks **** and will always look **** against guys who like to fight.
He was VERY lucky to get past old man Johnson in their 1st fight plus being dropped on more than one occasion tells us all we need to know ie....DAWSON CANNOT FIGHT, HE HATES TO FIGHT.

Dawson likes to box and control people which is great, boring but still great, 'IF' you're fighting old men with no stomach for it. In Pascal he met a young live dog and was very unprepared for him.

Oh and to all you people saying stuff like ' why didn't Chad do that to Pascal in round 3 instead of round 11'? etc.

Well, its because Pascal woulda knocked Dawson out, thats why. Pascal was up for a REAL fight from the 1st bell, Dawson was not, is not and, never will be. Dawson is no fighter, he's a pretty boxer with little stomach for toe to toe action.

Pascal will always be wrong for Dawson as possibly would Cloud be, but Cloud's still too raw and sloppy.

Pascal is rightfully no.1 right now and deservedly so.
