Watch the fight in HD, Poon. Slow down every punch, divide the rounds into 3 separate minutes and evaluate the effective aggression thing. It very much depends on what a scorer likes. By rights the decision should've been razor-thin and either fighter could've taken it. Same with something like Pavlik-Taylor II.

Your have an unhealthy obsession with Felix Sturm. Whenever I read your posts you are always hating on him. And you never explain why. I'm not one of those posters who will just Red K whenever someone posts something I dont like. But the way you ***** about Sturm over and over is annoying. If you don't like him then that's fine but at least post something to back up your arguments. Instead of just hating without any purpose or reason to back it up.

It should be a good fight tonight. I'm hoping that Pascal wins because he fights every 3-4 months and looks like he could be the future of the LHW division. The same could be said for Dawson but he just strikes me as somebody who isnt really interested in boxing and it shows in how he fights. He's been very passive in alot of the fights I have seen him in. Particuarly the fights with Glen Johnson. The first fight he looked lost and could easily have earned his first defeat. The 2nd fight he was impressive but coasted in the last 3-4 rounds and just started running instead of throwing punches. Dawson also fights once a year and I dont think that's good for boxing that the best fighter in a weight class is very inactive like Dawson.

Totally subjective, but I'll give you that from an objective standpoint. Like Mayweather, it's not to everyone's taste. But he still has real skills, whichever way you put it.

I can dig watching him do his work, but I can totally see why others might not.

I'll give you that, too. As a person he seems boring as hell (although I respect him for being a stand-up family man) and not the most marketable of talents, but I personally don't watch boxing for the 'star quality' thing - lately that's what's been killing the sport; what with the Hayes, Bradleys and Mayweathers acting like jumped-up divas. Dawson doesn't do much smack, but neither do our boys Marquez or Katsidis.

But that was because of injury, not because of the punishment he was taking. The thing that annoys me about Dawson is that he looks very passive and uninterested during his fights. Like he's just waiting for the fight to end so he can go home and do something else.
