Kotelnik doesn't throw enough punches to beat Berto and Berto has great Offense, I think Berto would beat Kotelnik

now Selcuk Aydin!!! He can probably beat Berto maybe even KO him, he just signed with Don King, I would rather see Berto stay at 147 and fight Aydin instead of moving back down

If Berto is gonna to continue hold on to his title and not fight anyone he needs to be stripped!!!! Its funny how all these guys do is pick safe fights and claim they are the best.....only Pac-Man to some degree can lay claim to that....

Berto might as well go down to 140 and see what he can do there...He has NO interest in fighting true 147lb fighters.......I'd actually like to see Berto vs Judah

Not sure what Clottey is doing these days, but i believe he'd beat Berto....Paul williams......is dying for an opportunity to shine against one the so called top guys...but the only one with any Balls is Martinez....

BTW, its appears that HBO is also a promoter....boxing is starting to get ridiculous.....

I doubt HBO ever gives Clottey another shot, and rightfully so considering how he just showed up to not be knocked out against Manny Pac.

King is a con artist to the fullest. He has this guy get robbed against a fighter he should've won against and then throws him to the wolves against a bully.

Berto would have a tremendous size advantage if they fight. If he uses that to his advantage, I see it hard for Kotelnik to be effective; It's not like Berto is slow.

But Kotelnik has a lot of ring experience so I'm sure he'd try to figure something out that would work.

Plus I don't think Clottey throws enough punches to beat a guy like Berto. But it's a moot point since I agree with you that HBO will probably not give him another date and a payday after that weak showing against Pacquiao. Sometimes it's better to go out on your shield in the long run (Pac vs. Cotto, Pac vs. Hatton) than it is just to survive. Plus, Clottey's been given more than enough chances and always came up short in the big fights (Margarito, Cotto and Pacquiao). Corrales and Judah were guys he was supposed to beat, especially Corrales who had no business at 147 lbs...

HORRIBLE fight for Kotelnik. Berto may not be the most technically gifted guy in the world, but if there's one thing he has that Alexander lacked that made him struggle, its accuracy. Berto's accuracy is very underrated. A combination of that, his very fast hands, huge size advantage and power (I don't care what nobody says, Berto hits MUCH harder than Alexander) will be too much for Kotelnik.

F**k Don King for taking a fighter who just set himself up for a great future and throwing him to a much bigger guy with a nightmare style for him.
