Is David Haye a "paper" champion?

A paper champion by definition is a champion who avoids fighting the recognized best and pads his record with lesser fighters in aid of looking better than he is.

Haye is most certainly a paper champion.

(According to the Guinness book of world records he is also the largest walking poultry on earth too!)

Haye is a paper champion. He got his belt by beating Valuev who shouldnt have even had the belt because he lost to Chagaev. As we know Wladimir destroyed Chagaev but he didnt get the belt because Chagaev was the "Champion in recess". Whatever that means...

The worst thing about Haye is that he claims that the Klitschkos have been and still are ducking him. He talked so much like he really wanted the fight but now I think that was just him talking to try and get some attention.

Whether Chagaev deserved to still be champion is basically irrelevant, as Valuev was given the decision whether he deserved it or not and Haye beat Valuev - doesn't matter what you think.

The whole 'David Gaye' joke is getting very old by the way and it makes you look a bit childish.

He had legit injuries and never lost the title. Valuev was give an interm belt which is essentially just a voucher which ensures that Valuev would get the first crack at Chagaev once he was healthy again. The WBA simply refused to sanction the Klychko-Chagaev fight as being for the WBA belt after Valuev *****ed out cuz they knew Chagaev would lose and could then make Valuev the "full" WBA champ even thought he had no ***ing belt.

We needed a poll on this.

I thought that Haye was the linear champ and had actually defeated a prime Marciano for the belt.
