Why does every boxer feel like they only need 2 fights a year these days?

What happened to 4, and 5 fight years? Give me 3 for **** sakes. What top boxer are we even going to see this year more then twice? Can someone name me one????? I can't think of any.

Because that's all that HBO and Showtime can afford.

They don't understand that they can hustle and fight 3-4 times a year if they jump networks every year.

Guys like Tomasz Adamek fight 3+ times a year. He could easily fight at the end of the year after Grant. I hope to see him and Haye go at it. Vitali is also an active guy. He just had a bad year because nobody wants to step up aside from the tomato cans looking for a payday.

I agree. Cunningham needs to start being active. He's only fought three times since he and Huck fought. Huck on the other hand fought like 10, going on 11 times.

Pascal is generally an active fighter. fought 5 times in 2007 and 4 times in 2009. The injury killed his momentum though
