I don't get why people say he fights bums and that's why he gots the record he does, but when he steps up to fight a good fighter now they scream he's not ready. What do you people want him to do then?

Jr. doesn't even need training camp for this fight.

But he probably should do it just for the exercise. It's good for his heart, lessen the chance for diabetes and a myriad of other diseases. But other than the cardio work, it's pointless. Easy work for Jr.

I think Chavez has a chance....just impose your size and power on Cotto and he'll fold.
Now that's a real joke! Cotto will schooled the kid then after the 5th rd Cotto will KO him end of story. The only positive for Jr. is that he'll get more elite fighters who would want to fight him.

If he's that good why then he's ducking Wolak? That should been an easy fight for him. Don't you think? After Dec 4 then we should have a conversation about Jr. Until then it's pointless. The guy hasn't fought nobody on the level of Miguel so nothing against him but until he prove me that he can fight the elite he still just a soso boxer.

How many more fights does this damn kid need? His entire career has been based on padding his record against tuneups. It's time to show and prove!

This is the problem with boxing nowadays. These so-called pro boxers want to have 30-somewhat fights before actually fighting a threat.

Exaclty Jr is coming off a fight recently with Duddy. What the hell is Wolak going to show Chavez Jr that will prepare him for cotto?? Roach will have Chavez sparring the right guys to prepare him the best he can for a fight with Cotto the Wolak fight isnt necessary and will not make a difference.

Ducking Wolak?? Are you kidding? JCC Jr. prolly had to boxrec WTF that is. Obviously, Cotto is the tougher fight so how can you accuse him of ducking??

All roads lead to JCC Jr. anyway.
