Makes one want to become a pro boxer to change all that.

As long as Sergio Martinez is still active I'm happy.

I've started to become very tired of it. I love the sport, when they are in the ring and ready to fight.

It's just starting to turn me into a "casual" fan again.

This has become a part-time sport.
Unfortunately I can't become a casual fan, but you're right. If you add the sanctioning bodies problems and the bad judging you won't watch boxing again.

Well he has the right attitude but boxing's politics are killing him, take the fact that the WBO stripped him for example. It really sucks, he deserves better.

Not a joke, but boxing is not in a good shape right now, the best boxers should be fighting each other just like they use to do ! i made a thread about that and everybody agreed with it.

Two biggest issues with boxing: Sanctioning Bodies and Promoters. I think this fight is going to be boring due to the styles but this still sux!

                  Ward-Dirrell will happen in October.

2010 has had a lot of postponements/canceled fights and simply no fights but I don't think every year is like this.

I think boxing needs a ****ing wake up call. Boxing needs to be dropped from the mainstream completely so that these greedy as promoters and fighters understand the severity of the situation. Boxers are being overpaid to underpreform and promoters seem to be trying to squeeze as much juice from the fruit before it dries up.
