So no accusation or anyone bringing race into it? Because if Mayweather had said the opposite it would be because both of them were black.

Floyd is just biased against slick fighters. He doesn't understand the sweet science.

Amir was real smart to play it safe with him and not really brawl with him, by taking his time with him it allowed to dominate but it was a FULL effort and by what I remember he didn't even stun Kotelnik..

I'm telling you man Andrey Kotelnik has some serious heart, I knew this going into the fight with Devon and I was very curious to see how Devon would react to someone who could take it and give it too. Andrey didn't disappoint me and I look forward to seeing him fight again but this was a tough fight. I have to rewatch it, I saw it only the 1 time it aired but honestly that was an awesome fight
Kotelnik is an underrated fighter, He could be undefeated if he had the right people\promoter, Khan is the only fighter who has beaten him cleanly so far and even Khan had to use some hit and run tactics to conquer Kotelnik.

Leonard Ellerbe just came out with a statement saying there were never talks with Kotelnik. Richard Schaefer says he stands by Ellerbe's statement.

whatever is said, it will still go down as an official loss for kotelnik. Though as consolation, what Floyd said seems to be also the conclusion made by ring magazine when in their latest rankings, they dropped alexander in rank, and increased kotelnik even if kotelnik officially lost the bout.

Kotelnik has the Glen Johnson syndrome, even worse though. Against top fighters, Kotelnik just fights enough to lose a close decision. Johnson on the other hand always fights good enough to get a draw but never gets the decision because the judges rather give a close fight to the champion or undefeated fighter. But at the end they both claim robbery.

I don't care what Mayweather or anyone else says, my opinion stays that it was a close fight that Alexander won. It could have gone either way but I gave it to the champion/undefeated fighter.

who cares if they are friends, he is entitled to his opinion

Kotelnik is like the Clottey of the 140 division, great chin, great defense, tough fighter

So if he has "a big race chip on his shoulder" like you claim, then why would he do that?? The answer is: He doesn't have a race chip on his shoulder, it's called "Calling it how you see it"
