Sorry, but that was never in the contract. You see, Floyd knew it would be hard to make 144 so he did not have the contracted weight of 144 lbs put in the contract. The verbal agreement was 144, and he came in at 146 which is why he had to pay JMM.

They're trying to boycott this fight because they don't want to see their cheater get beat down by another cheater in total humiliation.

I just think of this as a legit welterweight fight at 151. No way im gon boycott this midget. Cotto on the other hand fought Margarito at 147 so why? Who gives a **** ass about that WBC belt, it aint Mannys fault its on the line, his the one getting taxed but hopefully he deserts it.

          okay.

so because the catchweight wasn't in the contract and it was just a verbal agreement that makes a big difference?

          same thing.

if floyd made 144 it would be a catchweight.

so him not making the weight he agreed to makes it better?

Floyd-Marquez was at a catchweight of 144, which was changeed to 146 after floyd weighed over

No, it isn't the same thing. Boxers think things like this through. Floyd always comes in shape. If you think Floyd cheated JMM by weighing in 2 lbs over that is on you. I'm just telling you the truth. What was in the contract was that Floyd not come in over 147 lbs.

I know you aren't ******, so I just won't entertain your juvenile 'you go at Pac, I'll go back at Floyd' response lol...

i don't really give a damn anymore what he weighed at.

it wouldn't have made a difference.

just don't tell me some bs that you won't watch pac-marg because of a catchweight and then excuse floyd for not only making a catchweight fight but also failing to make the weight.

i don't know if it was just a verbal agreement and not on the contract OR it was on the contract but they changed it afterwards.

                    same ****.

he agreed to a catchweight fight. whether it was written or just verbal makes no difference.
