Either way Arreola KO rd 4-6

But unless he gets at least under 240...he's never going to beat the top guys at heavyweight

The talent is there...just not the dedication

I say he needs a new trainer that keeps him in the gym inbetween fights so he doesnt balloon up

      Simply a fat ****!

What a waste of talent Arreola is! He stated that he is serious this time....bla blah blah and then he comes in at 256!! I was once a fan but no longer...he is still young but getting heavier all the time...by his 30's he will be over 300 in the ring...He simply does not respect the sport and needs to have someone take his top off in a fight, as he deserves a real beating for his lack of respect for the sport!

Can't wait until Eric Butterbean Esch faces Arreola in 2020.

Over 1000lbs in the ring. They will have to build special supports and have super widescreen cameras so that they will both fit on the screen...

            Pic of the Weigh In

Arreola weighed in at 256 lb, the third heaviest of his career, while his former sparring partner Quezada tipped the scales at a fleshy 228 lb. for their ESPN2 Friday Night Fights main event, which airs live from the Citizens Business Bank Center in Ontario, California (Friday, 9PM ET/6PM local time). Dunno why, but the guy looks a little more balanced as far as his body symmetry goes. Also, not all big and fat in the torso. Even his neck/face look a little thinned out. May just be wishful thinking and a little photoshop from the press, but maybe the extra weight is evenly distributed and he's actually in good shape. We'll see tomorrow I guess... I'm pulling for the guy.

From the streets to HBO to a title shot and now on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights - Maybe he's waking up.

There's just no excuse for this. I really like Cris but he's never going to get anywhere if he doesn't keep his weight under control.

It's a shame he won't show no more dedication and self restraint . Hispanics would love to have a serious hw contender. It's like emanuel steward said " once they get famous , they get signed to a big fat $$ contract and that kills of alot of thier motivation "
only th elite foghters can be rich and still stay really motivated , i guess ???

Here's to hoping he gets jobbed out big time to Quezada.

How about you take time off from boxing to get your health in order, then come back to it fit and ready?
