#1 above, you're correct; #2 above, you must have missed Arum stating that Texas assured him (basically a bunch of Jerry Jones' cronies) that all Margo had to do was go in front of the CSAC and even if CSAC doesn't reinstate his license there, Texas will approve it immediately; #3 above, spot on!

I really don't understand the point of a deadline for the Mayweather fight, and yet there still hasn't been a signed deal for Pac's fight against Marg. I doubt it would be easier to promote the Marg fight then a Mayweather showdown. the Margarito fight would require a lot of convincing promotion to make people watch it, as opposed to the Mayweather fight which pretty much sells itself.

#1- this fight is a done deal whether its been signed or not (atleast margarito is vocal about wanting to fight pac, unlike floyd jr who's been busy hiding and ducking)

#2- although marg has no license to fight in the states, there is a backup plan to fight in mexico or the middle east (no license required)

#3- marg doesnt deserve to fight for the belt, but he is the rated #1 contender for that belt (i dont know how margarito got the #1 rated ranking tho)

Wow, what an amended deal. From 150 to 151lbs. and some more money.

            Pacquiao requesting more money?

Does he feel he's being short changed?

Is there a bit of turmoil between the Pacquiao and Arum camps?

            This should be interesting.

It was just a show by Arum. There was literally NO point in it.

                you dont understand?
                come on bro...
they've been negotiating since after the mosley fight,
so its been about 2 months since then and floyd jr hasnt said a word.
after two months of nothing, you gotta put your foot down and say enuff is enuff

with margarito, altho nothing is signed yet, atleast there is communication and the willingness on margarito's part to want to fight pac. thats the difference between floyd dodging for 2+ months (hence the deadline) vs margarito's immediate acceptance to fight pac.

Cut this, Arum promised Tony a fight with Pac in February.

Well....don't blame the fighters for fighting at a catchweight of 151 lbs.....It's within the super welterweight/light middleweight limit of 148-154lbs......both will fight even without the title.......

Blame the WBC for offering the vacant title......they just want the Championship fee....It's business!!!
