That guy was a welter weight that knocked him down. Joel julio couldnt deal with the pressure and couldnt generate power on the backfoot, Vera is just plain **** with a chin.

Kirkland's will to win is bigger than anyone in boxing when he was fighting. I do agree though, that will come back to haunt him. He enjoys fighting too much and forgets his head movement and doubling up his jab to come in. He wants to hit you so bad he throws all his fundamentals out the window, it's something he has to work on or it will bite him in the ass no matter how much he wants to win.

that's true but kirkland is squared up 95% of the time so angulo would have to deal with a southpaw 5% of the time
