this is whats wrong with a lot of you guys, just because a prospect loses doesnt mean hes magically '****'.

and prospects arent supposed to already by flawless early in their careers either. thats the whole reason why they have so many 'fluff' fights early in their career. theyre still learning on the job.

First off, he is fighting bums and that isn't hating, that is a fact. He is widely criticized by everybody in the boxing world, especially Teddy Atlas for refusing to step up his competition despite his winning record. Raines is a total bum who can not fight so why show that as the display put on by Lemieux that makes you love him so much?

Secondly, Lemieux did not "shatter" his jaw. We're not talking about what Tyson did to Ruddock in literally shattering his eye socket and literally SHATTERING (breaking) his jaw to where it was literally hanging off after the fight. Lemieux did not deliver a career ending beating to that kid, that kid just can't fight.

Also, Lemieux continues to fight bum after bum despite being ranked #3 (I think) while Omar Henry can't find anybody brave enough to step into the ring with him.

I can not WAIT for Omar to dismantle that kid, if Lemieux would ever agree to such a fight.

I've seen most of his fights and I remeber him as an ametuer. He always had that style and did well in the ametuers with that style. He's a 4 time national champ so he knows a little about boxing. With your mentality we are not supposed to like someone unless they are some flawless machine.
Since when is being on someone's bandwagon means you're ****riding them? I dont **** ride any boxer. Unlike you I dont pee my pants for boxers who havent proved themselves. Just cause he is good and exciting doesnt mean i'm going to watch him. Everybody have diff reasons on following boxers. Obviously you just look for good and exciting boxers which isnt a bad thing at all. We just differ, as I look for prospects that are brought up well by going the distance a couple times, fighting different styles, stances, short and tall heights, boxing or fighting aggressively.

Lol... Hate much dude? remove yourself from this appreciation thread of my favorite fighter.

I'm not one of those guys who jumps on the bandwagon after they become a world champion and prove there selves. I like the way he fights, his character, and he has that it factor to me. I don't understand how people on this thread are hating on people for liking him as a fighter, just because he hasn't proven himself yet. To me people who only jump on the bandwagon after a big win are the real fools.

Whether he gets exposed or not in the future, I will still rock him in my avy.

I thought the hate about Lemieux was gone, i was wrong. The kid is serious, he does have the power and the boxing skills to become a WC. I guess they will hate him even more when he will be WC ! They are doing the same with Bute...

Are you insinuating that I am a bandwagon fan and only support fighters who become champions, when my favorite active fighter is Omar Henry who has only 10 professional fights?

Sorry, I like fighters who bring excitement to the ring, and Lemieux does not do that. He fights bums and doesn't deal with them impressively, but gives a mediocre performance against guys that would be DESTROYED in spectacular fashion by good and exciting fighters, like Omar Henry.

You can love Lemieux all you want but that doesn't change the fact that he isn't good and he will be destroyed by a fighter who isn't a bum and throws a lot of punches.

Like I said - I can not wait until Omar gets him in the ring. It's going to be like putting an 8 year old into the ring with a silverback Gorilla. Lemieux is just as good as dead.

LOL ! Are you serious ? Henry fought tomato cans and it's ok because he's has only 10 fights. If you like Henry don't put him with the more experienced and stronger Lemieux. Ayala said that Lemieux hit as hard as Abraham, Lemieux is only 21 and is already #3 wbc. I don't care if you hate Lemieux, just don't compare him with a guy who as only 10 fights.

Abraham turned ayalas lights out when he hit him . Lemiuex just overwhelmed him with fast powerful combinations. As i said in previous posts Lemieux is not a one punch knock out artist and never will be at elite level.
And incase you didnt know Ayala is probably the worst feather fisted title challenger for the middle weight crown in the last decade.

I hopped on the bandwagon after his last performance on ESPN FNF.

Definitely looks like a future Champ.

It took 12 long rounds for Abraham to turned Ayalas lights out, Ayala was exhausted at that time. Lemieux destroyed Ayala in the first round. Lemieux is a KO artist and will KO many boxer with one punch to the body or to the head just like he did before. The kid is only 21 and is very serious.
