Another Nova Scotian, Kirk Johnson is also fighting again. Lets hope he can win his battle against Burger King first. he weighed 248 in his last night in April.

The kid had a ton of talent, just no discipline .

Arturo Gatti was pretty good too but it's a fact that Canada doesn't produce elite fighters. U guys still have good and decent boxers but that's it. The rising nation in boxing is the Philippines right now and the big dogs R still US, PR and Mexico.

The #1 P4P MMA fighter is still Anderson Silva lol
For the record, my favorite fighter of all time, in any sport, was Canadian, Arturo Gatti

Steve Cunningham isn't Canadian, but his last fight was against Troy Ross, who is Canadian by way of Guyana. Maybe that was the confusion.

This may seem like a backhanded compliment, it isn't meant to be though. Eric Lucas may have been the least talented belt holder the WBC has ever had. Says a ton for his perseverance, determination and work ethic!

Pretty good group of Champions for a country with only 33 Million people compared to the USA 307 Million. The country of Canada is breeding great boxers and fighters just look at the P4P #1 MMA fighter George St.Pierre is from Quebec.
Who give's a ****. That's just like the other ******s on here who say the philippines only have pacquiao when they have like 4-5 other current world champions or say that european fighters are bums.

David Lemieux in 2 years is gonna be what GSP is to Canada and overtake him as best Canadian fighter

Canada has 32 Million people, USA has over 300 Million! Think about it, pretty good for a country that doesnt have much for boxing gyms and not much ppl and still able to produce great Champions
