How Far Do You Think Paul Spadafora Could Of Gone?

If he hadn't of gone of the rails and stayed focused?

He did all the right stuff in the ring but he had no athletic ability; well hardly any. I can't really say, I've watched very little of him, both his fights against Manfredy and Victoriano Sosa. Good boxer nonetheless, not much I can say.

Well in his last fight before his comeback he got a gift draw against Leonard Dorin. A fighter Arturo Gatti took out in one round. That wasn't a good sign.

Damn, and I was actually thinking about keeping a close eye on him, especially since Pernell Whitaker is training him. Well, Spadafora has no one to blame but himself.

Yeah, I'm hoping he does well. I actually like him as a fighter and his style. But I don't see it happening now.

Paul spadafora himself has said he has no power and refuses to try and improve his power, he's a boxer through and through and willnot change to please others in his very own words. So it took mayweather a **** load longer to knock out hatton, pac took two rounds. Does that make mayweather any less of a boxer?

As for staying focused....that girl of his f$cked his whole life up. Granted he's the one who hasfinal say in the matter but she's defintely been a terrible influence/situation/problem in his life. He would have made it far. When he was acually young and before all the drama and prison he was the truth. He could do it all. He's good. People just sleep on him. Now? He's old and past it. Bottomline. Domincanosoy, el no tiene abilidad atletic? que tiene que ver eso con el boxeo? Porque uno no tenga una abilidad atletica no quiere decir que un pelador nunca va a llevar a ser alguien. There is the brain kiddo, more important than athletic ability.

He would have been a longtime contender not just a one time conten der with a short prime.

He wouldn't have made ot to elite,he was nevr hard to find but when he was on his game he had a piston jab and the accuracy of a laser.

But his battles with the alcohol bottle amongst others did him in.He was always in bad crowds, something bad was bound to happen.

I thought he had lots of potential, some of the moves he did in the ring reminded me of Whitaker, but he got distracted outside of the ring then obviously ran into legal troubles so that really screwed him up. Shame.
