A weight drained De La Hoya, who weighed 145lb on fight night and weighed 2lb less than Manny on the night? Bad example. If Marg was fighting Manny at 140lb then it would be a reasonable comparison, but not at 150lb (although all catchweights are bull****).

Clottey is as big as Marg but is far less dangerous. And although he blew up to 170lb once, Clottey's normal fight night weight is just under 160lb. And Marg is much taller and has much longer reach than Clottey. The extra height and reach, combined with the fact he's naturally much heavier than Pacquiao and has a phenomenal workrate, and a lot more power than Clottey, should make it a very tough test for Pacquiao.

That said, the man should have been banned for life IMO, and because of that, I will not be watching this fight.

Dela didnt weigh 145 on fight night.

Clottey has always been a big WW and dont give me this ONE time he blew up to 170.

Your opinion doesnt matter now does it? Or else he would have neen banned for life...

You will watch the fight ......

Pac's stamina and chin are gonna get tested in this fight, because he's gonna have to work the entire night. But I don't buy Margarito being his toughest test. Margarito brings more punching power and strength than Pac's other opponents, but he don't have the speed to really make it count in this style matchup.

Will NOT pay for a catchweight bull**** fight. Good for PacMan. He can drain his opponent and juice up all he wants. BAD for boxing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Typo, he weighed 147lb on fight night, which was less than Manny weighed, which was my point, so you're just splitting hairs. The fact is, you gave a silly example.

My opinion is as valid as anyone else's. And many respected boxing commentators agree with it.

So you're saying that only God's opinion has any validity and anyone who isn't God has no right to state their opinion?

Arum is a scumbag who is using dubious means to keep Margarito's career on track. His behaviour is giving boxing a bad name.
