Kotelnik now promoted by King? WTF?

Wow; I didn't know this & just read it here on BS.

I guess at the end of the day Kotelnik knew he was going to loose but knowing he had nothing to loose he went balls out & really showed how good he is v Devon.

My guess is he took this fight with Devon knowing it would grease the wheels into King's stable so he'd earn more in the future - the whole thing was done plainly from a business perspective.

I just hope now Kotelink gets some good fights the dude is massively underated.

Don King used him as an opponent for Alexander, had the judges rob him, and will just keep him inactive from here on.

Don King just uses fighters to make money, he's never had the slightest interest in furthering their careers.

I agree 100% I despise King but why would Kotelnik sign a fight he knows he'll probably get robbed in THEN sign to be promoted by the guy who robbed him? It has to be a business decision or Kotelnik is really that silly

He was already signed by King when he signed to fight Kotelnik.

King has that drug dealer deals.....for instance he takes Kotelnik to America, puts him on HBO against a very good opponent,Kotelnik gets a good paycheck. How could you refuse to sign for him?

          Then it happens.

Yeah, IIRC, Don King went to Ukraine to sign him and they put a picture up of him there with Kotelnik on fight news.Kotelnik was brought in to lose basically.

I think most already address his contract with King already so I won't touch on that....rather add a few things.

Honestly Kotelnik didn't really have a choice because unlike other promoters, King kinda forces you into fights indirectly.

Yeah he eases the pain with a decent payday and a bigger stage than you are use to seeing but the only way Kotelnik was to win would be via Knockout.

I honestly would have love to see those Trinidad vs Hopkins scorecards. Now that I think about it, Hopkins handled that **** the way it was suppose to be handled.

He was setup as well, knew he needed a knockout and did so accordingly. After the fight, King tried to hug him and Bernard said "Get the fvkk off me, you tried to bring me in as an opponent. I dont like you Motherukker." or some **** like that (I'm going off the top of my head).
