He's calling out Oscar so he can get revenge for when Oscar beat up his old man. Canelo and Chavez have been at it for a while so that doesn't surprise me. He better be focused on Cotto though. He's probably having 2nd thoughts and is trying 2 get a fight with Alvarez instead. He's fighting Baldomir so I guess that's out the question but you never know.

Both of those fights would be true grudge matches and explosive period! Oh how good these fights would be for boxing! Don't knock young Chavez for this. He is calling out guys. He IS fighting Cotto. Come on this is what we been waiting for out of this guy! And throwing verbal jabs is different from calling someone out. Props. DLH should man up and fight. He did the same thing to JCC and karma has come full throttle. Take the fight! Let Canelo soften him if u must but MAN up. Then you can truly retire in the eyes of the fans. Not even close. Azteca holds 105k and probably more than that considering if a fight was held there they would have the ring in the middle of the field with all around on the ground level.

I think It would take a Julio Cesar Chavez vs another big name to sell that much and if JCC Jr. vs Canelo had any chance it would have to be a scenario in which later on down the road both where built up and were both top fighters in the sport.

I say this because I was at Chavez last fight in San Antonio and while he has a decent fan base, it's not nearly enough to do numbers like that.

I will say this though; both are the biggest names in Mexico at the moment (as far as fan base in concerned).

Actually if the fight it would be in Mexico. Both are pretty be there and logistically it would make the most sense. They are big amongst the Mexican fan base...not so much the Mexican American fan base (as in Texas, Cali, Arizona etc)
