I want to see Dirrell advance to the next round too. Since it seems like he is getting better and better.

But Andre Ward is just too good and will beat him.

Harsh on Dirrel, dodgy decision against Froch, then a DQ not counting as a KO.
Needs a result against Ward now.

with the way ward is fighting, might as well hand him the trophy right now. theres no weakness in his skills, none, so what da hell is dirrell gonna plan, if he boxes, ward could do that, if he trades ward could do that better, and ward showed that he could bully u to the ropes and his stamina is off the charts.

              ward wins the whole thing

I also got Ward beating Dirrell. This is going to be both men's toughest fight of their careers. Dirrell is a bit faster and stronger, while Ward is smarter, rougher and is a natural switch hitter.

Since Dirrell is going to be the one trying to counter, Ward is going to change stances....as the toughest thing for a counter user to deal with(Orthodox or Southpaw) is figuring out the rhythm of a stance that constantly changes.

Look at the first Wilfredo Rivera and Pernell Whitaker fight. Whitaker is possibly the best defensive welterweight of all time and he, like Mayweather, has trouble adjusting to the southpaw stance. But even after Rivera went back to Orthodox, Whitaker still had problems.

Also, Dirrell tends to have trouble fighting on the inside and gets annoyed by rough fighting, which Ward loves.

The way I see it is....

Can Dirrell be mentally ready throughout the match and can Ward handle Dirrell's superior speed and power.

I still got Ward based on him showing us a new surprise and frustrating Dirrell. But it honestly could go either way. This is the most exciting fight in the tournament in my opinion, the two best!
