RJJ would have probably beaten DM in his prime. DM was to much of a plodder for RJJ. Both of those guy's deserve stick for not making that fight, and leaving unanswered questions. That was the fight everyone wanted to see at light heavyweight, and it never happened for whatever reason. That's the story for the second half of RJJ's career really. There were plenty of fights he should have made, which he didn't.

How would RJJ have beaten him? I'm not seeing any scenario where he does this unless DM gives RJJ too much respect powerwise. I don't see why he would do this though, he has said that he wouldn't have done it, he has never been KO'd, and RJJ's record at light heavyweight shows just what kind of power he had at 15-3 with 9 KO's.

As for the fight not happening, DM was wrong for initially insisting on the fight being in Germany. When he caved into RJJ demands that the fight be held in the U.S. RJJ demanded a 70/30 split. Sounds fair. RJJ did the same thing to DM that he did to numerous fighters from higher weightclasses. So like fighters like Jirov, Sanders, and Douglas, RJJ never had any intention of fighting DM in the first place.

The first fight with Harmon, Harmon was kicking his ass and Harmon was stopped for BULL****. I saw the tape on it. It was almost as bad as the Green-Beyer robbery.

Which was two fights ago, when we have already said that DM was slipping. You are just proving my point DM was determined to get insided on Harmon and he took punches trying to do so. DM was able to get inside and rock Harmon with 8 unanswered punches that sent him to the mat in the 9th where he failed to beat the count. So a non prime DM is able to KO Harmon in the 9th while it took a RJJ in 2001 10 rounds to TKO him. Also notice how at times Jones threw combinations to get Johnson off of him but Johnson kept coming. Johnson doesn't have DM's skills so thanks for proving my point.

I was also unaware that he fought Harmon more than one time. I missed what planet you were from, but mabye you forgot to answer my question, or maybe I missed it.

DM wouldnt have a chance in Roy's prime.
Fighting and beating Roy now wouldnt be proving ne thing.
