The reply means not everything is what it seems. If GBP sent out feelers to a whole host of candidates it means nothing. Well, in the real world anyway. Not on NSB.Comment

Then it went to he was forced to sign when Ellerbe in November said Shane was Plan B.
Then it went to ok you signed but Shane is 39 and hasnt fought in 5 years. Meanwhile ignoring that Roach admited that he didnt want Shane to fight Pacquiao because he was too good.Comment

I know. Absolutely ridiculous. Oh, and you forgot this part: After he beat Shane and then it went to "well he was negotiating with Matthew Hatton at some point, no?"

The only person making that claim was Hatton. Mayweather's team said early on that Mosley was second choice after Pacquiao. So the question is who did Hatton talk to? So far I haven't heard a single name.Comment

I couldn't care less, homey!!If Floyd don't wanna fight so what??If Bradley beats Alexander, which I doubt, then maybe he does deserve his shot at the Pacman, right??DO NOT...I mean seriously...DO NOT be surprised....
That if Bradley fights and beats Alexander that Mayweather - Bradley WILL happen in May 2011 instead of Mayweather-Pacquiao.
Bookmark this thread. Mark my words. It will absolutely happen.
I like both guys(Bradley&Alexander) but we must show our support for Alexander to win if this fight goes off. The fans deserve to see Pacquiao-Mayweather and if Bradley wins it will be ANOTHER year of 400 threads a day on why Pacquiao and Mayweather won't fight each other.
I'm warning you now!

But GBP themselves dismissed it. And this was while Hatton was saying he got a call from them. And Campbell was also a rumor. After people said that was in the talks, Campbell came out and said he wants to fight Mayweather and says they should give him a call. He wouldn't say that if they were already talking.
The only options confirmed (was even on BoxingScene's news) were Malignaggi and Cintron. However Floyd dismissed Malignaggi as an option, and Cintron couldn't happen because either HBO or MGM Grand (can't remember which one) refused to give Floyd the date when he didn't have a signed contract, since March 13th was 7 weeks away.Comment
