i think the issue was more the guarantee , taxes and the site rather than split.
texas doesn't have a state income tax.
but manny will still have to pay federal income tax.
in dubai , like in a lot of oil rich countries , there is no income tax at all.
i think that's why arum is bumping the guarantee a little to compensate just in case the fight doesn't do as well as projected.
it's all numbers and estimates. nothing big.
like arum said , he's done it before.
example the hatton fight. when pacquiao couldn't get the split he wanted , arum stepped in and gave him extra from his end.
no biggie for arum , he still makes money.Comment

Arum complains of Margo case, of course he is one of his fighters. If it was the other way around Arum would be voicing that he should never get his license.
