Alexander hasnt got great punching power like (bradley,khan) everyone thinks

AK had been out of boxing for a year and still landed punches easily

Got beaten to the punch later on by a slow kotelnik

he got hit alot clean by kotelnik, if someone with power had punched hewouldve been in trouble...

I have yet to see the fight but initially when the fight was made I did not have great feelings about it. It seemed that to Alexander this was a fill in treading water fight while he was waiting for something bigger. I never like those fights especially when the name fighter thinks he has arrived. Those kind of fights can be very dangerous as the name fighter is looking past the opponent in front of him. Don Curry was looking past Honeyghan towards a super fight with Hagler. Pavlik was looking past Hopkins towards a maga fight with Abrahams. I get the feeling Alexander was making the same mistake looking towards Bradley and not zeroing in on the man in front of him Kotelnik. For him to get away without losing he has had a major result and I don't see him making the same mistake again.This may well end up being a blessing in disguise.
