Adamek would KO chinny Dawson at HW or CW.

Dawson dropped Adamek at the beginning of their fight and hurt him a few times, so with your logic wouldn't that make him chinny too?

In a few years when Dawson grows out of LHW, this fight needs to happen again. Perhaps at a catch weight?

i respect chad but i just think Adamek is a different monster at this point in his career and would really pound him down. I'm not sure if he gets the KO but I think he does win.

Adamek tripped over Dawson's foot. Watch the slow motion replay, it clearly wasn't a kd.

Adamek was totally weight drained for that fight, he was killing himself to make 175. That's why he moved up 25 lbs to cruiserweight and is now fighting at 215-220 lbs at heavyweight. Sick weight drained Adamek still managed to knockdown and badly hurt Dawson and win the last 3 rounds.

Adamek has improved big time since that fight. He's faster, stronger, more mobile and much more comfortable at HW and CW than he was at 175 (weight drained)

Anybody who thinks Dawson could be an effective Heavyweight with his lack of chin and power is a ******. That's all.

Would you think Pacquiao getting knocked out by unknowns at the lower weights would come up to 140-147 and stop De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto and dominate Clottey?

I think people take struggling to make weight a lot more seriously than it really is after seeing De La Hoya. Even if he did struggle, he wasn't "sick" or "severely weight drained". He wasn't pale, didn't look beat, his power was still there, and he looked like the same fighter he did prior to that fight. Sure he fights at HW now, but he's a very small HW. He squeaked by Arreola, and Arreola looked like an amateur in that fight, especially the way he was throwing that jab. The Klitschkos would have stopped him pretty early that night, heck even Duck Duck Haye would have knocked him out that night. He's probably a natural CW right now.

Its impossible to make a valid point on who would win at this point. Adamek probably wins at CW right now, and Dawson wins at LHW. But neither one is the other's natural weight, so it wouldn't say very much.

Adamek got dropped, and was outboxed and outclassed throughout the entire fight.

And Dawson would be totally bloated at HW, considering his frame, I doubt he ever grows into a HW fighter. Hell, the man could still cut to 168 if it were deemed necessary.

And Dawson hasn't improved? He's the most skilled fighter in boxing not named Mayweather.
