Not just an L, but usually career changing losses. For example, Margarito in his previous fight was retreating against a C level fighter.

The pattern backfired vs Morales in the 1st fight and against Marquez in the rematch, but Pacquiao was able to get a gift, courtesy of Arum, anyway.

Thats right Clottey was coming off a devastating loss. That one pound made a huge difference for Cotto. Hatton was supposedly a new fighter when Floyd Sr. got to him. Oh, and DLH ask for that beat down dont forget now...

                  How bout Floyd
Shane = Cotto's left overs was old as hell when Floyd finally fought him

Marquez = Probably the worst match up in history, been in two many wars with Pacman and Floyd still couldnt finish him off being over weight and all

Hatton = Floyd fought him at Hattons uncomfortable weight, remember Hatton was unbeaten at 140 not 147

Delaquitter = Chump fight, Delaquitter was at a better weight then when Pac fought him but Floyd still squeaked out a split decision.

I can go on with Floyds last few wins as well...

C-Level Diaz for a paper-belt, exposed and knocked out by Holt. Avoided all the undefeated fighters at 135:

Drained a healthy Oscar all the way down to 147, a weight he hasn't made in a decade, coming off a ugly "win" over a light-weight (forbes) while getting busted up for the first time in his career:

Fights a chinless Hatton, courtesy of Mayweather, after getting exposed as shot by Lazcano - another light-weight:

Cotto get's plastered to death, looks washed up against Clottey. Fight is at a catch-weight:

Soon to come, A plaster-less Margarito who just got cracked wide open by Mayweather's last opponent. Another catch-weight for another paper-belt.

Pacquiao the greatest pattern fighter of all time! The pattern of fighting leftovers below their natural weight for paper-belts.

This is all backed up by his own trainer, in the video below:

come on man, we get that you hate Manny...

but did you really need to make a thread about this?

now we get ******ed fanboys protecting their man again
