    Chad Dawson vs Steve Cunningham

Chad Dawson is probably gonna grow out of LHW eventually, so when he does, how do you see him doing against Steve Cunningham? Both have been in the ring with Tomasz Adamek, with Dawson winning a lopsided UD and Cunningham losing a close SD, however I think we've seen that triangle theories don't mean s**t in boxing.

I think this would be a very competitive fight. But the difference between LHW and CW is pretty big, so my question is how Dawson would perform at the higher weight class. And Cunningham isn't exactly a small guy, so he can't pull a Danny Green and do a catchweight fight.

I honestly think that the 168er's are going to come to Dawson before he moves up to cruiser.

But if he does fight Steve then I think it would be a very good fight.

But Chad wins by close UD.

it is too much of a gap between 175 and 200

I think Dawson goes down before he goes up, the bigger fights are at 168 to be honest, Cunningham is the only one at Cruiserweight

I completely agree that he'd most likely go to the SMW division first. But I mean when he gets older and starts to growing out of the weight, he'll have no choice but to move up. And he's not exactly the smallest LHW either, so I think he'll be able to adjust to the gap. Just look at Adamek. He not only moved up and became the CW champ, but now he's a serious HW contender.

Its not like Cunningham will be the same age as he is now, he will get older too and isn't really that young now at 34.

Cunningham may be retired in a couple years for all we know and from what I have seen against Ross he may be slipping already.

Damn he's that old? I didn't even realize it because of how little fights he has on his resume. Now that knockdown in the Ross fight makes a lot more sense to me lol in that case he better hurry up and fight Marco Huck again before he's too old.

                Veeeeeeerryyy interesting fight.

I give the slight edge to U.S.S Cunningham though.

I just feel like boxing ability they are almost equals and the same goes for speed imo. but the difference will be the weight and Steve would just look huge next to chad I think and just overpower him (even though hes not a big puncher)

Good fight though. Cunningham by Split decision.
