The reason being is because the only alternative HBO wanted was a double header both featuring Williams and Martinez fighting on the same card against separate opponents. Williams would've fought Dzinziruk and Martinez would've fought Angulo. But a wrench was thrown into that. Angulo turned down $750,000 to fight Martinez and demanded a mill to fight Martinez when he only made $350,000 against Alcime. Damn, what a ho move. But regardless, I think Williams and Martinez fighting each other is a go at this point.
