There is no excuse apart from the ones he offered himself. I just don't believe Katsidis is a better fighter than Mitchell, but this is boxing and this is why we watch it. Anyone get derailed by a puncher, Casamayor nearly did.
My argument is that Katsidis probably won't beat anyone better than Mitchell and the man you mentioned Czar Amonsot - in response to Pittypats post.
As a JMM fan I'd like that match to be made. JMM would look like a million dollar against Katsidis. He's a very good fringe world-class fighter but I can't see him ever beating a big-name.
