What does that mean, "take it like a champ?" Didn't Alexander "take it like a champ" against Kotelnik?

We will see...bro. I still think the Kotelnik fight is a telling fight, but not the be-all of Alexander. It's a learning experience that will only improve his style.
I mean that Devons power won't be enough to keep Bradley at bay. Bradley will be in his face regardless. And those lunging punches aren't actually bad against someone who doesn't have good head movement.

If you have GOOD headmovement and you can slip and counter Bradley, that's when those punches are bad for Bradley.

I actually think those punches land on Alexander, though..

I have to see Devon in one more fight for me to reach a final verdict on how he would do against Bradley. For now I still see him beating Maidana, Kahn, and Ortiz.

Bully... rewatch the Urango fight again.

He showed the same things to me... the difference was that Kotelnik was more able to take advantage of the flaws than Urango did.

But before the stoppage Urango's pressure was getting closer and closer.

I remember me and you talking about it after the fight.

          Fair enough...Fault for fault.

Lack of Head movement/General foot movement vs Chin out/ Looping punches

I bet we can both agree that this will be an entertaining fight while it lasts.

Here goes Bradley underestimating Kotelniks skills again. Why does'nt Kotelnik get the credit for just fighting a good fight. I don't understand how you catch all of the other guys punches and land everything you throw butstill lose. Kotelnik punched Devon out plain and simple. Bradley does'nt have the same skill set that Kotelnik does. Yes he's black and more athletic but that does'nt mean he's more skilled. Bradley vs Kotelnik would be good.

Urango was hitting Devon with a TON of right hooks. Up until the stoppage, Devon was definitely winning, but Urango was beginning to come on.

Devon does not beat Bradley. Now, or ever IMO.

I think Kotelnik nearly won that fight or even did. He wasn't as active but he was just better and found an home for the right hand almost every time. Devon really disappointed me.

I found that fight stange as **** because Alexander was very accurate in all of his 20 other fight, and couldn't miss the slippery Witter who gave Bradley a tough fight a few months earlier.

Honestly triangle theories do not work in this talent pool called Junior Wleter Weight, but for now I see Bradley as the top guy, until Alexander shows me that his last fight was a fluke by rematching Kotelnik, or beating either Khan, Maidana, or Ortiz.
                    great post I agree

What Bradley was trying to say was... when you throw a punch at Devon, it's not hard to miss.. and he's also predictable, because when you throw, he throws right back.. and that can be timed and trapped.

Bradleys skills are on par or exceed Kotelnik's.. he also has more intangibles.

His strength and conditioning is second to none in the sport, and he only ups the work as the fight goes on.
