Amir Khan: "Marquez Is A Better Fighter Than Both Alexander or Bradley." (Video)

Speaking with Elie Seckbach, Amir Khan implies that most people are aware to this very day Juan Manuel Marquez remains a superior boxer to both Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley.

Khan makes the statement at around 1:20.

Of course he is miles ahead, but Khan forgot to mention Marquez a borderline lightweight.

Marquez is/was a better fighter than Alexander but at what weight? At super featherweight for sure but at JWW is going to look silly small if and when he gets in the ring with khan or any other full size JWW.

Marquez is better. Khan vs Marquez will be a competitive match. I don't get why people are bashing Khan for fighting him.

Marquez would most likely beat Alexander at 140, and would give Bradley a hard fight. This is a tough, tough fight for Khan. Marquez hits hard and is a superior boxer to both Bradley and Alexander. He has a very good chance at knocking Khan out. Yes he struggled against Mayweather at 147, but this fight isn't at 147, and Khan isn't Mayweather.

This fight is a big money matchup for both Khan and Marquez. If Bradley and Alexander had the opportunity to make career high pay days against Marquez then they would take it without question. However, they are not in a position to negotiate with Marquez because they lack name power and a sizeable fan base.

Let's be honest, Khan is a few levels above both Bradley and Alexander when it comes to marketability, and star power. He is a big investment for HBO and Golden Boy. The fact is, they will want him to fight whoever makes them the most money. When Alexander and Bradley have built themselves up, I'm sure a fight between them and Khan will happen. Until then, Khan will continue to fight in medium risk - high reward fights. It's not the most noble of routes, but that is how boxing operates. As soon as a fight with Bradley or Alexander makes financial sense for Team Khan, the fight will be scheduled.

At 140 Alexander would KO Marquez, Bradley would UD Marquez.

Khan is a ducker he wont face any of the people at 140, hes all talk.
