    Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer was far from smiling when he read the recent comments that were made by promoter Don King. For the last few days, the 78-year-old King has been spending some quality time with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The veteran promoter is making his move to become Mayweather's negotiating partner for a third attempt to make a mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao.

                  The sport we love is eating itself alive due to greed.

                  I am waiting for the happy day it crumbles apart completely. Only then when it rises from the ashes we can possibly get our sport back. That is not guaranteed either. The sport seems to parallel other sports out there. There is no pride anymore. It is all about $$. They will all eventually implode. Baseball Football, Hockey and Basketball are following the same terrible trend also. Eventually the fans will catch on and say enough is enough.

                    The NBA's already taken a hit. I believe they lost millions last season (if im not mistaken) not to mention all the talk about how corrupt david stern in. NFL 11-12 season is in jeopardy.
