Why Dosen't David Haye Fight Evander Holyfield Next?

Evander suits the bill perfect for what Haye looks for. Old, slow, completey washed up and can no longer punch.

I don't know, Evander doesn't give up. Haye needs the old, slow, no power opponent to give up quickly too.

be careful what you wish for. Holyfield beat Valuev more convincingly than Haye did.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he did.

You just "took the words right out of my mouth", and beat me to it. Holyfirld IS old, yes, but still not that slow, and certainly, judging by his last few performances, still not completely "washed-up".

I'm not counting his Botha fight as this was a completely messy mix-up. Although if that is now the best Holyfield, then Haye "may" be tempted.

Exactly. Even an ancient Holyfield is too competitive for Haye. Haye's a joke.

David Haye will attend Donovan "Razor" Ruddock's fight coming up in September, to evaluate him as a potential opponent.

                http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...1869&cat=boxer

Ruddock was stopped four times in his younger years, and of course he'll be slower now with his advanced age, so perhaps he is someone Haye won't be afraid to fight.

I';ve always heard him speak good about Holyfield, think he admires the man and his career so maybe it's out of respect.

                  Wouldn't be to meaningfull either.
