All that vacation talk is for the birds...Everyone knows Floyd is on vacation but still thinking bout fighting. Apparently they havent made a deal that Floyd wants other wise we would have a fight. No one knows that was "agreed" to or sent to Floyd. People jump to everything Bob Arum says or Manny says. Mayweather and Manny are very similar when it comes to the business stand point. They both want the most money PERIOD...thats what it boils down to. Its not just Floyd...use your head..

im using my head, and that's why this post, i.e. your opinion, makes more debatable sense. than err... those fantasy fight outcomes that you spewed out earlier.

but regarding how you want to view floyd's vacation, no one really knows. no one's jumping cluelessly at arum's statements. team mayweather and gbp cant get their act together w/ their press releases so ppl would believe on who made more sense.

now, manny's history:

1, born dec 17, 1978
2. started boxing at 16 years old (106lbs)
3. go on to win 7 champions in 7 weight divisions up to welterweight (147lbs)

1. manny and floyd started at around the same age and the same weight category (106)
2. floyd has fought and won in the 154lbs cat while manny has yet to reach that weight.

if floyd suspects manny on ped's, is that a tacit admission that he used them? come on. the proof is floyd himself. if he didn't used ped's then why suspect manny?

Once again for the brainless. Floyd's body frame allowed him to go to 154. He is 5'8' and Manny is 5'6' so the weight will effect them differently. Go watch Floyds fights from when he was younger at a lighter weight to when he got up to 154. There is a difference in his style due to the additional weight. At 154 he was still a skilled boxer but was slower and didnt throw that many punches. Same thing with Roy Jones Jr. He wast his fastest at heavy weight. Marquez wasnt his fastest at WW. Hell even Tim Bradley looked Sluggish fighting at 147 vs 140. Manny went from fightng knock out drag out fights, struggling with Marquez etc. To gain roughly 15lbs in 6 months? He went from 135 to 148 to face Oscar. That doesnt usually happen in boxing...thats all im saying. Floyd gradually gained weight. Manny jumped 2 weight classes over night and was faster and had more energy. If Manny takes the test, I'll tip my hat off to him and say "wow" that guys an exception. Until then his wins blow in the leaves like Margaritos..

My out come is no fantasy at all. When its all said and done "styles make fights" and dont ever forget that. If you're praying for an upset in hopes that Manny wins, thats very much possible. FLoyd isnt God, he can get caught and ko'd. But if you looking at it from a boxing stand point and actually compare apples to apples. Floyd is dominating Manny in every category. He's smarter, taller, longer reach, better footwork, better defense, faster etc. The list goes on and on. Manny might go out and get bloody to put on a show for everyone, which i love as well as anyone else. But when facing a careful fighter, who can adapt to any style Floyd is that dude. IF Manny cant Ko floyd in first 2 to 4 rounds its over for Manny. He has to win by ko cuz he's not gonna out box Floyd. And check the record...whats the chances of Floyd being KO'd?? slim to none..

now, let's see who's ******. you're whole argument lies in comparing apples with apples. let's do that.

since they manny and floyd are of diff heights and manny has to fight in 154, let's use the body mass index. to compute use this:

bmi = 23.4

manny's: 5', 6.5", 147lbs. look it up. manny is 5' 6.5".

bmi = 23.4

viola! they have the same bmi! with regard to your statement that floyd's style is due to additional weight, it doesn't follow. he's older, hence slower.

have you seen manny's fights when he was younger? you say he punches the same. i say not. i saw him land an uppercut and his opponent's feet literally was off the canvas.

now with your argument, that he faced dlh from 135-148. again, you have your facts wrong. the fight was at 147, manny weighed in at 142, oscar at 145. see? you stated a 13 lb jump, where it's actually just 7. that's almost double.

it may have been. both camps interviews have been blown up in the media even before they sat at the negotiation table and that's where both camps realized their mistake going into the 2nd round. it started w/ Sr's accusations and it spiraled down from there into the negotiations. if the interviews DURING the negotiations came from ppl who doesnt have a voice in the negotiations, it wouldnt have mattered anyway.

Yes Pac was draining himself. Plus 1 opinion don't make a difference. To most everyone including the media, Manny's acceptance of whatever terms, 14 days etc. is more than sufficient to satisfy the public and is why they are calling Floyd a coward now.
