Yeah, and Cotto is an OFFENSIVE FIGHTER! Imagine how many rounds would that last, considering that Mayweather, as you say it played DEFENSIVE and he lasted 12 rounds.

Marquez has horrible defense with his right side..that'll be hook central for Cotto..Marquez doesn't belong anywhere above 135...that's his weightclass..

Yeah I was thinking it would be a very entertaining match up style wise if there wasnt such a size gap.

If only marquez was slightly bigger or you could take him and a younger cotto at 140 and match them up, it would be really good.

But in reality of that match up in 2010 or 2011 its going to be cotto because he is too big and too much power. He stops him, mayweather would have stopped him if he really wanted to but he didnt try

This is an easy fight for Cotto because JMM though better than him is too small to put serious hurt on him and even if he could, isn't a pressure guy, all while Cotto is a better boxer and much harder puncher than Juan Diaz who had an easy time hitting JMM.
