I mean come on. Even the greatest fighters have had bad fights before.

It doesn't matter. When dudes are only fighting every 5-7 months, you're only as good as your last fight.

The Urango fight is out the window now. Kotelnik made Alexander look average, so if he comes back, and beats Bradley then people will be all over him. Live with it. In boxing you can only judge someone off of there most recent fight. The layoffs are to long.

Look at an NFL team for example. You judge them from season to season. You don't just have one bad season, and say oh they did great the season before. Nope, going into the next season you see they did **** in the previous season, and expect more of that, unless they prove otherwise.

lol that is OK I would rather this board talk about Devon Flaws then to start Thread about Mayweather and Pacman OVER AND OVER lol

bottom line is this, Alexander looked HORRIBLE LAST NIGHT no doubt about it, does that mean all of a sudden he is not that good and won't be a future P4P Champion...ABSOLUTELY NOT! He has some things he needs to work on obviously, he is 23 not 33 so Alexander still has room to grow and he has yet to even reach is Peak or Prime as a fighter, only thing he showed in that fight against Kotelnik is that he has Heart and a good Chin, other then that Kevin Cunningham needs to get back to the basics with Alexander, especially defensively, he was just taking way too many punches

Alexander still has the talent and the ability to beat anyone in that 140 division, but the way he fought last night...if he continues to fight like that then they all probably would stop him

Kotelnik got robbed last night. Thats simply what happened.

It has nothing to do with "hating" Alexander. Bunch of emotional ****s who continually use that word when a fighter gets criticised.

              "OMG! OMG! STOP HATING"

Do you realise how gay that sounds?

This is bul****. Pacquiao was outboxed by Marquez, and then came back to destroy Diaz, De Ka Hoya and, Hatton.

ON SECOND THOUGHT: Why is it that when Floyd literally blows an opponent out (i.e. Marquez) everyone says its boring basically because Floyd didn't get touched. Yet, Devon does get touched and all of a sudden he's not that good. I mean, ol Clottey scuffed Pac up back in March and he's still god to miost of yall. Yet devon get a little scuffed up and he's not good...smh. Do yall want competitive fights or blowouts? Make up ur minds...
ppl are more open to his flaws now because he didnt have a knockout to cover it up. u can see them in the urango fight. expect ppl to jump off the bandwagon bro thats how they are. yesterday majority positive threads on him, today majority negative thread. its part of the game. your right badguy a win is win its over, its in the books. but he got 5 months to get it together cause workrate aint cutting it with bradley.
